How It Works: Adjusting Your Hanger for the Perfect Fit Grab both ends Hold the hanger near the collar yoke with one hand. With your other hand, grip the end of the shoulder pad and place your thumb under the tip. Pop the shoulder pad up Push up and rotate the shoulder pad to loosen it from the arm. Find your fit Lay your shirt flat (face down). Stretch the shoulder pads from seam to seam and check which adjustment hole lines up with the tip of the pad. Line it up Place the shoulder pad just above the hanger arm. Make sure the end covers the right adjustment hole. Snap it in place Squeeze the shoulder pad until it clicks securely onto the arm.
